This was right outside my aunt dee and uncle mike's back door. AH! so gorgeous. It is so gorgeous in Grand Junction and so relaxing. It has been added to the list of places to move possibly.
Not going to say much, gotta pretend like I am working but these first pics are of Black Canyon, hence the sign ;) It was hidden by dust and dirt mountains on the outside. You wouldnt even know it was there if you didnt live here. Thank you grandpa and grandma and aunt cindy for taking me. It was gorgeous. Truely one of God's miracles.

How absolutely cool is this pic. There isnt much color in it except the red in the flag that stands out! It is so amazing.
Okay this is the other national park we went to it is called the monument. It to was gorgeous. It is crazy how two places in the same town can have such different landscapes,

This was a little roadside fun I thought about partaking in till I thought about the drive over the mountain in wet clothes. There were places like this all up and down the mountain. People fly fishing, rafting, canoeing, anything you want to take part in.

Leaving the mesa's
Mom's high school picutre back round, you guys will know what I mean
Mesa, I cant remember what the finger looking things were called. UGH! But basically this was all formed from volcanoes. There are little spouts everywhere that are little mini wanna be volcanoes. Scary but beautiful.
This was after going through the mountain. I kind of got lost trying to find the buffalo that I always miss and found this!!!!! Oh yeah baby.

This is a distant cousin who felt the need to be photographed and last but not least

A deer crossed my path as I was leaving the Buffalo Reserve
This is actually close to Denver where my uncle lives. It was so gorgeous there. The city is very very close but there is a lake just down the street from his house, a dog park and of course the mountains as a back drop. GORGEOUS!

I finally got to see my friend of a lifetime Trey. We had not seen each other in 13 years. We went to Boulder, ha ha, I think she says her husband called it the rice cake kind of people. You know my type. Art, coffee, living life and enjoying it ;) . We found this amazing little coffee shop that had hot chocolate chai latte's. Let me just say OMG! so good. If you are ever there you should stop by, it is by the big statue of the elk. Dont ask what street that was on. I lost track. They have a lot of ethniv shops, hand made clothes, soaps, and my personal favorite street performers.
