More CO

Evil little man kept getting in my picture, so finally I just let him be there. This is behind my aunts house.

This was right outside my aunt dee and uncle mike's back door. AH! so gorgeous. It is so gorgeous in Grand Junction and so relaxing. It has been added to the list of places to move possibly.

Not going to say much, gotta pretend like I am working but these first pics are of Black Canyon, hence the sign ;) It was hidden by dust and dirt mountains on the outside. You wouldnt even know it was there if you didnt live here. Thank you grandpa and grandma and aunt cindy for taking me. It was gorgeous. Truely one of God's miracles.

How absolutely cool is this pic. There isnt much color in it except the red in the flag that stands out! It is so amazing.
Okay this is the other national park we went to it is called the monument. It to was gorgeous. It is crazy how two places in the same town can have such different landscapes,

Part 3-Coming down from the mountain

There is more coming on this from the beginning of the trip I promise but here is what I have so far.
This car was parked outside the subway I stopped at in Aspen. I about fell out! Who owns this kind of car in Aspen I ask you? But it was gorgeous to look at, not gonna lie.

This was a little roadside fun I thought about partaking in till I thought about the drive over the mountain in wet clothes. There were places like this all up and down the mountain. People fly fishing, rafting, canoeing, anything you want to take part in.

I climbed in the river. To cool off for a while. It was a lot colder than I had anticipated.

This is one of the log cabins I scoped out for my brother in law Steve. He liked these a lot until I told him the price.

The mystery of water and the beutiful reflections it can create when calm.

No mom, I was not driving and taking pictures.

More beautiful rivers along the way

Look how beautiful and natural the water is

Took this for mom, the aspen's you love. Not a bad background either. :D

Leaving the mesa's

Beautiful river stop

Mom's high school picutre back round, you guys will know what I mean

Mesa, I cant remember what the finger looking things were called. UGH! But basically this was all formed from volcanoes. There are little spouts everywhere that are little mini wanna be volcanoes. Scary but beautiful.

This was after going through the mountain. I kind of got lost trying to find the buffalo that I always miss and found this!!!!! Oh yeah baby.

AND >>>>>>OH YEAH, the BUFFALO!!!!

This is Mr. Buffalo

This is baby

This is a distant cousin who felt the need to be photographed and last but not least

The whole family

The teenage son

A deer crossed my path as I was leaving the Buffalo Reserve

This is actually close to Denver where my uncle lives. It was so gorgeous there. The city is very very close but there is a lake just down the street from his house, a dog park and of course the mountains as a back drop. GORGEOUS!

I finally got to see my friend of a lifetime Trey. We had not seen each other in 13 years. We went to Boulder, ha ha, I think she says her husband called it the rice cake kind of people. You know my type. Art, coffee, living life and enjoying it ;) . We found this amazing little coffee shop that had hot chocolate chai latte's. Let me just say OMG! so good. If you are ever there you should stop by, it is by the big statue of the elk. Dont ask what street that was on. I lost track. They have a lot of ethniv shops, hand made clothes, soaps, and my personal favorite street performers.
Well anyway, we had a blast and vowed not to let it be so long next time between visits.
This is Trey,
So anyway, thank you to everyone who let me crash at their house on this journey. Thank you for the amazing tour of the mountains and mesa and hidden valley. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the family and most of all thank you for strengthening my journey with God. Love you all.

Girls night at Kandi's aprtment. Dont look at the apartment ;) She was trying to lock me out of my bedroom and laughing and loving it.

She was trying to get to the perfume on my dresser. She had pulled out every drawer. It was too funny.

And just for you her shaking her booty :D

And more to come but here is her on a horse from yesterday's homecoming parade. Sorry it is sideways.

Hope things are getting better. The rain only lasts so long then the sun comes out and it is so much more beautiful than it was before. Praying for you.
